70 cl bottle of Ruavieja Pacharan (sloe liqueur), from Santiago de Compostela, Galicia.
Pacharán (Patxaran) is a sloe-flavoured liqueur popular in the Navarre region, Basque Country, and other areas of Spain. It is usually served as a digestif either chilled or on ice.
The production of Ruavieja´s pacharán liqueur is as simple as it is traditional and artisan. Only the best sloes of each season are selected to make this pacharán liqueur. After months of resting, badiana liqueur (star anise) is added, and the result is a natural, high-quality Pacharán.
It stands out for the intense bright red colour provided by the sloes, and its harmonious aroma, full of nuances, aniseed-like at the beginning, becoming fruity at the end.
The taste is balanced and smooth on the palate, with intense fruity notes and a touch of aniseed with hints of liquorice. To enjoy the full flavour of this Pacharán de Ruavieja, we recommend chilling the bottle and serving it with ice in a wide glass.
